She wore her simple crown
with a majesty that spoke of kingdoms
come and gone with the ancients
who still sparkled in her jewels
or where they stars I had to wonder
bedazzled as I was by their brilliance
as they encircled her with the magic
possessed by those who knew the call
and believed in the secrets
contained in the mysteries we threw
aside
upon entering our sterile world
the mysteries lost in the frozen minds
of those who saw the falcities
yet bowed before them
she wore her crown of stars
believing them thorns that gracefully
fell
into the masses as they searched
and trampled the answers in confusion while the stars twinkled above
with humor for the denial
and for the absence of silence
in which a prayer could be answered
crowned with simplicity 

She Created

She created
In ourselves 
A grand idea
With many sides
She spun
And in the spinning had fun
Weaving in our possibilities
She laughed
And the echo entered our souls
Not a sound to be lost
She clapped in delight
For we were delightful
She recognized Herself in each
And Her light grew brighter
She reached out
Gathering us all as Her flock
She blessed
Each one gently as She let us go
For She knew we would return
In time
As we must
And She would welcome each
As gently as She had let go
For She loved
As only She could

The Goddess

The Goddess shook
And a single drop
of her consciousness
Rained down upon me
Filling my reservoir
With a compassion
All encompassing
Join with me now She said
As we enter communion
Breathing as one in joy
And sharing as we pass it on
In every smile we give away
Saying I am the Goddess
Flowing through each blessing
Reaching out in Her design
I am the Goddess I hear Her say
Her thoughts wrapping me
Encircling
Lulling me to a new height
Of peace happiness worship
Wishing to serve the Goddess
I commit without a plan
A necessity I find only on earth
For Her path will lead me on
Placing me where She needs
The Goddess shakes again
Laughing in pure delight
Her waves roll over me
Delicously
Drowning me
In my new declared committing
